Short of going through the expense of getting indicators moulded into my bumper how else can i get indicators on the front with my morettes (soon to purchase ![]() |

hmm maybe, i was looking at a cheaper way for now, could i turn the front fogs into indicators? (with a little modification of corse and means losing them ![]() |

Electrics aren't my strong point. But anything is possible i suppose, will have to swap the bulbs for orange, may just be a case of extending the wires to reach the front fogs! ![]() But you'd have to check the llegality of where indicators have to be as in they may be to low there! ![]() |

yea i was thinking along the same lines. thats also a good point. don't want to upset mr plod do i. ![]() hmm..... unless i can mount some in the grill?!? |

Not big on electrics myself, but points you may need to consider, including the legality of height due to visibility, Bulb fixings. Fogs tend to be H1 bulbs or similar, not the mahosive bayonet attatchment that most indicators are......could paint a H1 though I suppose ![]() Voltage. Headlight and foglights are supplied with big voltage to ensure you can see at night ![]() ![]() Other than that, I don't see any reason why the circuit can't be extended down to the bumper……you'll need to do that, otherwise you'll need change your fuse and relay switches to get them to blink the correct lights ![]() |

thanks, i've been tryin to look for rules regarding indicators and i can't find any. i may try and mount some indicators in the front grill. (my mate in his vw caddy 1987 did this usign side indicators of a mk4 xr3i but left the other bulbs connected to keep the flashing intermittent) does any one know about laws regarding indicator mounting? ![]() i hope it isn't to much hassle........ ![]() |

SOLUTION ![]() my mate at ford that sorted it out before asked an mot tester and sed converting the fogs is perfectly legal. jst gt to extend the wires swap the bulbs and holders and hopefully not to much trouble ![]() |
