......did it run fine before you took the head off?? the old one that is.... if it doesnt look like the valves are open and you cant hear any odd noises.as in chuffing out of the inlet or exhaust..then that points to valve seat problem...failing that...its rings but it would have to be very severe to cause zero compression... ideally youd need to do a cylinder leakage test to define the problem.. take the head back off...take the valves out and make sure they are not bent....and the seats are not burned out...the stems on zetec valves are quite slender and easily bent if a belt lets go...(was the head an ebay purchase?) |
