u may need a rebuild kit, i had to get 1 for the boot and one for passenger door, try wd40-ing the lock

That's good news then (kinda). Bought a whole new lockset with PATS and master key, but found that the drivers lock operates both ways with any key!, so obviously can't fit it!

Marky - Ford locks are designed to lock with any key, making them more difficult to pick. However over time the plates within the barrel wear out so even the correct key will only be able to lock it.



This ebay company will build locks to your key. I think you bid for the locks, and pay an extra £7 on top of the final price for the service. You'd also need to send them a key to work from. Sounds like the cost could quickly add up to me.
