mine is the same i can drive down the road some day and its fine then this morning i came to a roundabout and it nearlt died! i did the same let it rev normally and it was fine for the rest of the way to work!

i will have a look at it this weekend!

i checked like u said and when the engine was turned off all i heard were a couple of "Tuff Tuff" noises!!

i did not hear any hissing!

Ah ok, seperate thing then.

Did you check your idle speed control valve thingy mabob?

gotta try and do my idle speed control valve tonight!

might sound like a stupid question, but what do i do with it
what do i clean it with

You will more than likely find its not the idle speed control valve, i had the same problem on a couple of fiesta's i have had, it is usually related to the MAF sensor (mass air flow) try blowing on the contacts of the chip by disconnecting the iso block and removing the security screws to release, if this does not get the car working as normal, the car may be losing compression, check for oil leaks, and try replacing the rocker cover gasket.

If all else fails then does the car stall more when more electrics in the car are on? i.e. blower, cd player. May need a new alternator!

nope car has never stalled when the electrics are on!

i dont use my blower as is has some rank smell that comes out of it! i am more likely to freeze in the winter than use the blower!

i will try both the idle speed control valve and the MAF

evildes is there any chance of you or anyone who has one,putting a picture up of where it is. i aint got a haynes manual yet but wiling to try if i'm jus shown where it is. if someone could jus point out the idle speed control valve.
