Hey people, so ive lost my locking wheel nut! Stupid i know but how can i get it of?? Been to ford and they dont have the right set, another garage wants £40 just to take them off! any ideas?? thanks Dane |

go to halfords, they sell a removal tool, its basically a reverse thread that will fights its way down the head of the bolt then when it catches it wil break the nut loose and it will undo, cost bout a tenner |

yes mate, if its a 19mm bolt or what ever size it is get the one smaller then it, hammer it on to the nut and undo it normel thats what i do matey.. |

the tool halfords sells isnt that good, well it wasnt with my ones lol you realy need an impact wrench to use them. i couldnt get it to grip lock nuts, i have ford ones with the stupid safty thing on the top which snaps if someone trys to taken them off the wrong way. i ended up calling the AA and they used a hamma and chisel and whacked it off in 10 seconds and didnt charge me anything, try going to ATS or kwik fit they have the tools and wont charge you usally well didnt at the ats i worked at lol ![]() |

We used a smaller socket on a few of mine and chiseled the other ones off |
