Hi, only changed the plugs as they were knackered, and it has only started smoking since they were changed i would of said the smoke was greyish blue it is using more oil and none of the other levels have moved more help please |

does it misfire alot? sounds like its running mega rich.. could be a pooed sensor (MAF at a guess) |

If its blue and the oil is going down then it is burning oil, Maybe valve stem seals, piston rings, or head gasket. Do a compression test to check the rings. hope this helps, emlyn |

Hi, just got back from the garage and the engine is fooked the piston rings are worn and when they put oil in the top it came out of the exhaust so any suggestions on what engine to go for next do i have to do the same as everyone else and put a 2.0 in it or can i go bigger cheers. |

You will have to be a sheep and do the 2.0l conversion! No other engines bar the 1.8, but you'll only wish you had put a 2.0l in if you do that! |
