right well it looks like the tapping took its toll on the engine as i was doing 60 on the a13 the engine went bang lots of blue smoke it cut out and pissed oil all over the a13 and all over my exhaust and underside will try and get some decent pics soon so the engines ded looking for a 1.6 or a 1.8 now most prob a 1.8 do i use the same loom and everything???? cheers scotty

There is a Mk1 mondeo near me thats for sale, still has tax and Mot and thats a 1.8 they want £300.

youll need the same stuff as you would for a 2.0 conversion

I believe so mate, im sure someone can post to say yay or nay??? Not sure of the milage but just thought you can make alot of money ebaying the parts you don't use!

I heard the tapping when you left saturday night, didn't sound to healthy.
