 Post subject: rear wiper

have an annoying problem (dont we all)
my rear wiper does not work when in situ, it will when fitted on another car
but when on the fiesta the whole boot is live when the wiper switch is operated but the motor wiper does not move!!!
can anyone help. cheers

clean the boot contacts sounds like a bad earth, mine done the same, cleaned it and it worked fine

i had a dodgy rear wiper, someone reckoned it was the relay, i never got round to replacing it, instead i removed the rear wiper + motor and fitted a low spec metal plug/cap so now de-wipered on the rear :D next thing will be to reposition the jet so i can squirt people in the summer, :D :D

yeh as said above, clean your little metal contacts on the boot and on the boot slam pannel.
