i doubt it's a S3 engine TBH. major hassle for a 1.6.
98bhp, pah is that all. there's an 1.6 zetec escort local to me with 110bhp. apparently :lol: :rolleyes:

The dyno sheeet is very old and other work should have been carried out since then.

98hp wouldnt be that bad on a 1.6 si considering they are around 88 standard.

Doesnt look like its been painted

Also, when I got a new alternator the one I got off another si wouldnt fit. Checked the code and it showed it was off an Escort.
Does this mean anything or is it usual with the si

I had a right game trying to get a new alternator for my Si. Nowehere lists it, so just be prepared when you need Si specific things, because people dont seem to know they even exist :lol:

best bet unless you need somthing 1.6 specific is to say youve got a 16v xr2i

there nigh on the same apart from the engine is a 1.8 i believe
