hi

just wondering whether the clutch is adjustable on my fiesta si ??? all i see is and orange plastic thing

near the clutch lever and thats it

i wanna lower bite point if possible

if you look at your clutch pedal, about half way up it there should be a white knob on it. undo that, what for it to take up tension then tighten.

Unl;ess you have auto adjust which is a little more difficult

jd - mine has a white knob and it alsways feels pretty tight.. should i slacken it a bit as i have 2 snap on me within a short space of time

with a fresh cable on, undo white knob, listen for it releasing, then tighten back up

just noticed your's is an auto
Apparently you can manipulate these to adjust when you want them to.
On the ratchet and Pawl system within the pedal, if you press the Pawl part so that it releases from ratchet and set it up from there.
Not 100% on that though, i just changed mine to manual adjust

Get yourself a ratchet kit, they wear out after a while, especially the spring; this is noticeable when the biting point is all the way at the floor and it is also sometimes difficult to engage gears.
The spring on the auto adjust ratchet wears out after around 100k.
