does the smell, smell funky! is your power steering fluid going down? when my power steering rack went that was dripping fluid on the cat and was burning and that let of a real horrible smell and a fair bit of smoke. maybe something to check!

Is it steam or is a oily smelling blue mist? I think the water pump is down the bottom there and some water pipes maybe so you could have a slit in a water pipe or something. If its oily smelling you have a blocked breather pipe and it's pushing it out where it can. |

umm i dont think the smoke is blue, but there is a slight burning smell aswell, if it is the breather thing, how would i sort that? change the pipe? |

Yeh when we got me GF's car the power steering level was low, had to put more in, i think mine is full, but he person i bought it off could have just filled it up. Also why im here, my car feels slightly slugish compared to me Gf's, they said that the car had been sitting around for a while, so would this have an effect? to solve this could i just give it a good drive and change the spark plugs and leads? |
