hi i dont suppose sum one could post a idiots guide to welding up here want to try if possible to weld a new sill on  or is this way to difficult for sum one inexperienced to do? also i had a leak on the gearbox twice now two different mecanics said it was a cracked gasket, it was replaced twice last time 4months ago [the gasket not the gearbox] and was fine but now a leak has appeared from the same place again  what would have made it crack again? appreciate sum help

sorry its the rear sump sill, [rear oil sump gasket or something] i spose the welding is a body shop job then |

so its not the gearbox? its the sump? new gasket only gona be about 10 quid surely? drain the oil, take the sump off, fit new seal, refit sump 
welding sills - eeks

if its the rear main oil seal then you gona enjoy fixing that

there about 30 quid i think, just annoying it keeps going?????  and it is the rear main mate,  fun and games!
