yea sorted that thing out was my sensor but now it seams that my filter is sucking in warm air, cos i have the 1.6 16 zetch verion and it gets fuckin hot under the good so how can i get lots of cold air i n to there cos it is a realy confined space u all would know if u have ever seen the 1.6 version what can i do thx |

most of us will have the 1.6 version so we know what you mean mate, apparently you can get some bendy pipes to feed some air in from somewhere, mines alright so ive left mine.. i know some people leave the standard box in as well as a k&n so if you have, take the whole box out, will free up abit of space and the lil air feed will be free under your cone |

Take the soundproof baffle material off the underneath of the bonnet, fit a couple of RS Turbo vents, make sure you've got a big cold air pipe directed at your K&N filter, and a heatshield fitted to the filter to keep away the hot air from around from the exhaust mani etc. |

i'm havin a similar sort o prob on my 1.6 escort. 
can get a bendy cold air feed pipe from halfords for £3.99 and problably half that price if ya looked round. Mattyboy put mine on today (v easy but knowin me i wud have broke summat) and it pulls a lot nicer even in this weather! |
