i had a leak from the top rad hose, ive drained the coolant, replaced the hose, filled it back up with ford antifreeze/water etc. now when i sit in traffic the temp gauge rises sharpish and i think ive got air locks, as the top rad hose now feels a bit empty! anybody know how to rid myself of such nastiness?

if its an Si it shouldnt be air locked unless thermostat is jammed, it has a self bleeding system if its the Xr2i in your sig, could be thermostat jammed, try a new one of them, they're only a couple of quid JJ |
