Post subject: | 1.4 ECU lock out |
So the story goes, bought a 95 1.4 si that needed saving, a non runner, turns out it had kicked a leg out, so definitely needed an engine replacement, got the replacement in, the same 1.4 lump but am getting the dreaded immobiliser light flashing with code 13, keycode not recognised, so it'll crank over, there's just no spark or fuel being primed My question is how do I resolve it, do I or can I get the key recoded to the ECU, is it simple enough to do or do I go the other way and buy a replacement ECU with keys, transponder, and lock set in the hopes that's going to solve my problem Any help would be appreciated as to wher I should turn next ![]() |
