basically i was driving round a corner, quite fast (as u do when youre 17) and i hit the kurb, the car fooketted all over the place banging up the kurbs before finally crashing into her resting place in a fence (at a fucking government building aswell..customs n excise!) i looked at it, changed the flatty, picked up my pieces of bumper and drove off after hours of inspecting and examining. only then did i notice that the rear of the car was flying about and felt as if i was driving on ice or if the shell was gonna fly off the chassis. the rear wheel alignment is a bit wonkey aswell but the bar for the rear wheels looks straight. would this be a suspension problem? if not what else would it be because i REALLY dont want ma car 2 get ritten off wen im 17 n having high premiums till im 60. its an M reg Si btw. have u pumped ur tyres up latly check the pressures also ur dampers on the rear could b nackered bounce the car at the rear n c if it keeps boucing more that 1 and a half bounces, and id fix the car me self if u dont want it writen off thats if ur confident enough to do it, if the insurence writes the car off buy it back n fix it on the cheep if u can |
