Guys, When I'm braking or come off the throttle sharply I can feel the right hand side of my seat slide forward slightly. Obvioulsy that outer seat rail doesn't have a lock on it as the handle only works on the inner seat rail but I feel that the seat moves around too much on the outer one it just ruins any confidence I have moving about ![]() Has anyone else felt this? If so how did you fix it? Do I just need a new outer seat rail? Cheers Paul |

It might not be the rail, it might be the seat framework itself, I've had that before on other cars. Take the seat out and have a gander. It's only a few bolts ![]() |

Des, I had a squiz last night (granted I didnt take the seat out but...) and I can move the rail by grabbing the seat and pushing and pulling it. Have checked under the seat cusion and all bolts are secure. Might pull the seat out tonight and have a good look but certain its not the seat moving on the rail ![]() Paul |

I think it's one of those things mate, until you do remove the seat you may not be able to identify the problem. But when you take it off, it might well be blatantly obvious! Easy to remove, just go for it. I do believe they're torx bolts though so you'll need a torx bit (the star heads). Someone correct me if I'm getting my cars confused here ![]() |

Des, Took them off last night (5x M12/10mm bolts) and gave them a clean and re-fitted everything and feels a bit better so not sure if remving and re-fitting has magically helped or if it'll just take time to settle back to its old ways but will see soon enough! Paul |

Ahh right, awesome. Did you notice anything loose when removing? Regardless, hopefully you're sorted now ![]() |

Nah, everything was tight when I took it out. Don't know if I've put it back in a little bit more squint giving a less easy path for the runner to take?!? Clutching at straws but we'll see what happens ![]() |
