got problems with my si, had the engine fitted to so long ago, ran well for a while, now its rattling and misfiring and smells very petrol'y and i can hear a loud sucking noise from the right side of the engine somwhere. it ticks over at a rough 2000 rpm and sometimes has the power to drive, although it does about 2 to the gallon. im gutted, cant work out what it is, iv replaced both inlet manifold gaskets and still no use any ideas. its a 1.8 zetec, with a 1.6 inlet manifold, iv checked it all lines up and is sealed properly., could it be a blown head gasket. |
