Hey all, Last few days have seen the 2i idleing wrong on start up. It seems to idle at about 2000 for a minute or 2 then drop off again to a regular idle. Not suire if this would be down to the colder weather or not, I suspect Idle control Valve could be at fault. Basicly seeing if anyone else can confirm my suspiscion or if there's something else that could be the culprit. Thanks for the help/advice all Phil

More than likely idle speed control valve, whip it off and give it a clean, if it still does it then it might be worth checking other sensors, but start with the ISCV and see how you get on

Check you coolant temperature sensors in the thermostat housing |
