i been having some problems with starting the car think its the ford fiesta Immobiliser so i guess i am thinking of some options ? ok the clock led is doing funny things when i do get the car working maybe 3 or 4 times taking the key out it stays on full but sort of dims i am going to take a video of it to show you also can this unit be disconnected as a friend had a ford granada and all he did was take a relay out and put some mini spade connects to bridge.. also this problem is with all keys some are new and some are old also red key is the same.. |

yeah it is Adam... try disconnecting the pats around the barrel and re connect. |

Yeah, the bit around the barrel is the receiver for the pats system. Easiest thing to check is that it is plugged in OK. If it is then pats is a nightmare to diagnose. All cabling is brown, box is intricately wired into the loom. If the red key is working might be worth tying to re programming a black key to the system and see if that helps. Does the alarm chirp at all when it doesn't start? Paul |

the problem is when you go to the car it may start first time if you lucky then when you stop and restart it nomal will not start then you take the key out and put it back in nomal after 2 or 3 times it will start but i do have about 3 or 4 black keys and red key i am not using it at the moment so wait till xmas is over thxs for the reply ... |

might sound stupid but if you have more than 1 key on the ring then the pats is trying to recieve more than 1 signal just try using 1 key |

ok i been told its fualt 13 after charging and running the battery flat so its been 4 months now so i called car mechanics he put the key in and the thing F***ing started he said whats the problem so i showed him a video of ther errors so its started with no problems last few days i may try pushing in the connections can you guys give me the location of the units i guess the ignition barrel has one unit then i guess its link to the pats box then to the ecu .. just some ideas then i can make shure connections are ok ...
