the way i did mine on my old bonnet was to tack weld a plate across the hole where the ford badge was, then fill the bonnet recess and the hole where the ford badge was with weld to over the flushed level, then attacked it with a sanding pad on a grinder until it was smooth, then went over with with pregressively finer grades of wet and dry then prime and paint it. i did all the work on this bar the paint using the method above and it came out like this ![]() ![]() ![]() hope that helps.
