Just in front of where the arm bolts to the chassis is where I usually put the stands when jacking the back up, should work fine with the beam off. Paul |

Depends how high you want the car really. Picture here of jacking points - never jack on points C though, just because its a fiesta ![]() ![]() Points B at the rear is where you can put stands - there are 2 chassis rails there to support the car. I always put stands at points B towards the front and jack up under the lower arm carriers. Never knew you could jack up under the front valance though, new to me! That might save loads of time. Might try that in the future for race car style jack ups! Well actually, with the splitter thats a massive no go ![]() |

Point C is where I was meaning for the axle stands. I always jack on the valence. Would recommend a bit of 2x3 or the likes as a buffer as the valence is a bit soft (read rusty) and the jack will burst it. Paul |

For points B at the rear you may need to putblocks under the axle stands as its quite a distance to get the vehicle raised high enough to work under and remove the rear beam. Just make sure your on a flat surface!!! |

Depending on the blocks mate, you might be better actually putting them on the ground and putting the axle stands on the blocks if you know what I mean. Safer than big blocks balanced on small axle stands And just ignore them, be as unsafe as you like, its only your legs ![]() Just kidding bud, make sure its well supported as a rusty fuel tank in your face would never be fun!
