Must be the pump or wiring. Swapped the relay and put it in the fog light relay hole and it clicked. So the relay is ok. Fml. |

Not sure, never done it before because I've never had the need. Apparently not too hard from what Phil said. I'll probably crack on with that tonight, maybe. Gives me an exhaust to paint the tank and under seal all the underside of the floor above the tank though ![]() |

I lowered the petrol tank on my exes escort to do the brake lines as they run above the tank, and it was an easy enough job. You'll be fine |

When my fuel pump died a death on the 106, the fuses also blew. |

That sucks. I've given up. Fords SHITTY design meaning stuff breaks when you undo it due to rust and whatever has annoyed me. Why put two stupid rectangular nut things in places where one of them you can hardly get to expecting it to stay in place with I presume a couple of shitty tack welds.. WD40'd them up for the night. Tomorrow I'll crack on and get annoyed with them some more. Prepare yourself for a few days of ford hating from me ![]() |

Are the fuel pumps not easy access under the rear seats like with Peugeot's or Honda's? :S |

Nope! You have to drop the tank to get to them. Completely shit design if you ask me! They should have just made an access panel or something rather than piss around with stupid ideas to cost people time and money. |

This is what I always find with Fords - stupid designs that just annoy the fuckmout of me when working on them!! |
