Went out in it a few days ago and the starter motor stuck and was on constant. Got back and took it off the car the next day and it had burnt itself out so bought a new one. I have fitted that but it is doing the same as the old one and stays on constantly. We have stripped the wiring off and have tried to put the live on the battery and its is sparking like mad. We have only just put a new alternator on and has only started doing it since then. Does anyone know what could be wrong with it by the way its a 1.6 cvh efi |

either wired in wrong, permenant live getting to the trigger cable or the starter relay is faulty |

after removeing the new alternator and putting an old one on it works fine |
