Hi guys/girls looking for a solution... I have rs500 wheels have a bit of an issue with the front hubs :O( i dont know um the best way to describe it so im gona put some pics on..

i have rs2000 disks and mondeo callipers and need to use a 5mm spacer to clear the strut, this is causing the problem. the centre of the wheel is not locating on the hub centre


was wondering if i could get spigots for the wheels to solve this, but the back of the wheel is tapered as show in the last pic, if anyone can help or has any ideas of how to overcome this please help :O)

Surely all a hubcentric spacer will do is line the spacer up with the hub, it wont affect the wheel position at all?!?

As long as your studs are long enough to get good purchase on the nuts then the nuts will centre the wheel on the hub and all will be rosey and bright.

Just my tuppence worth, and if I'm wrong i'm sure someone will let us know but im pretty sure there isnt any realy problem other than possibly your stud length.

The wheel centre is not touching the hub centre with the spacer have just ordered some 12mm hub centric spacers n hopefully fix the issue should have just enough room under the wings or it gona be a crash course in diy arch rolling )

Sounds like you need some spigot rings to reduce the centre bore of the wheel down to match the size of the hub but this is normally the case with aftermarket wheels not original Ford wheels

Well it would if you removed the suspension strut, the rims a 7j ET 40 could probably get away with a 3mm spacer but then still wouldnt fit the hub centre properly, they dont foul the callipers at all :O) just waxed 60 quid on hub centric spacers :O)
