Disconnect the battery for about 30-40mins is the easiest way |

And then plug it back in! It should reset the ECU |

Leave it disconnected overnight to be sure. |

Remove the ecu, and get a 12v wire and rub it across all the shiney pins. |

So Danny I just take the negative off, leave it for 30 40 mins, then te connet it, un plug the ecu, plug it back in, then go for a drive I read some where? Yeah? There's so many driffant ways iv read, my head is lost, haha |

Just leave the negative battery disconnected for about 30-40mins, then connect it again and all will be good. No need to disconnect the actual ECU. Then take it for a drive, should take about 20mins to re-learn, if that doesn't do anything, do what Percy said and leave it disconnected overnight and take it out in the morning

And re setting the ecu should by rights tell it iv put on a new maf and sort out mixure so it doesn't run so rich? |
