Can anyone recommend a fault code reader/car diagnostic scanner?
My cars engine management light came on last night when the missis was out in it.
The car drives fine and pulls well.

I think there is a slight blow in the exhaust, it sides near to where the manifold connects to the exhaust.
Do cars detect this and throw the light on?
If this isnt the problem my guess is lambda sensor.

I think ford charge about £100 for a check so fuck that, seens cheaper to buy a reader myself.
Iv seen dirt cheaper readers for about £25 on amazon and i just looked in argos and they have have 2 RAC ones at £79.99 and £159.99.

I can read it using my phone if its ODB2

Pretty certain its the exhaust blowing after another check.

Much thanks percy, glad its only one fault code regarding exhaust area.
EML still hasnt come on yet so cant be too bad lol. Ill start by getting exhaust sorted.
