ok so i have got myself a mk2 xr2 rep as a run round while i finish my mk3 and its pretty much ready apart from one problem... a flat spot, its a 1.6 cvh, the car starts fine and idle's perfect ... but at low rev's if ya dump ya foot into the floor it suck's loads of air in and cuts out... iv changed the carb, dizzy cap and rotor arm, new plugs and leads .. still does it, once it gets past the flat spot it rev's free with no problems at all, can any one help because its doing my headn!! cheers chap's! sean |

i take it its the round top tldm Webber carb, adjust the fuel mixture screw in on the back of the carb, its basically over fueling |
