im trying to fit a limited slip diff to my Fiesta, but i cant budge the drive shaft hubs out of the Diff, i had to split the CV joints to get the gearbox out. they seem stuck fast of the ring in the hub, ive tried leavering, rotating it, tapping it but no joy. is there any other tricks??? |

When I did mine once, people said to lever it out, it didnt work, but what I did was get something to place between the hub bit and the gearbox and hit it really hard with a rubber mallet, it popped it out then. That's the only way I could get it out. Hope that helps Will

I used a chissle the thin pointy end was perfect to jam between the shaft and gearbox and then hammer it until it popped out, takes a while though. |

Thanks, they are out took avice put a chisle in as wedge tapped it with a malet and out they popped, now just got to get at diff! |
