Post subject: | Heater blower not working at all |
Any advise please? My heatre blower has stoped working all together. About 2 years ago i changed the reistor thing in the pasanger foot well as it had stoped working on position 1 and all has been well until a few weeks ago when it sudenly stopped working on all speeds without any warning at all. My local garage say they cant find the problem and told me to go to an auto elactrician but i think they was too busy to realy look properly. Is it the switch or the blower or what and if so how can i test them please? Any thought or ideas please? ![]() |

yeah more than likely, its retangular with loads of little holes in the casing and has metal coils inside it, should be about 4 wires going to it i think |

you probably need a new heater control valve if its not working on any setting |

if it was the resistor it work work on the fastest setting, sounds like either the switch, the fan or the live feed to the fan have broken |

Use a multi meter to find out which cable is permanent live then go from there, pretty straight forward once you know that |
