i have no idea how can i check?Well the filter on the car is small so im guessing so would i not use a 1.6 zetec oil filter?

Think they take something like 4.2 litres Jamie. Thats from the top of my head so might not be 100% right lol |

and looking now the oil filter on the car already is alot smaller than the one i bought from halfrauds i bought one for a mondeo? |

does your engine have the 1.6 oil pump or the 2.0? cos if its still on the 2.0 pump u need to use a cvh filter which is smaller |

sounds like you need the cvh filter cos your engine still has the 2litre oil pump which means the zetec filter is too long |

on my 2.0l i use the filter from a fiesta mk4 1.25, its shorter then the standard si 1.6 or 2.0 mondeo one. Thought the sump capacity was 4.5L minus a small amount for the shorter filter. stick 4L in and keep checking your dipstick as you add more. |

ok problem solved all zetecs 1.6 1.8 2.0 are 4.25 litres and i managed to get a zetec filter on it was a squeeze tho :p |
