Hi all i have a mk3.5 fiesta 1.1

i have recently had trouble as im driving i push the clutch down and the engine holds its revs also when i stop in traffic it holds it revs up for a while then finally settles down. due to having a full through stainless this can be very loud and embarrasing as i look like some young rev head

ive been told to try clean the carb but before i do this i would like to know what this problem could be and what can be causing it

its not the cable checked that also tried cleaning carb out worked for a little while then started playing back up now its getting hard to start and idling really lumpy

do they have them on these as theyre only single point injection arent they if so where can i find it at

Because it's a good old HCS, you need to check all the hoses and sensor plugs.

Took a look today after re cleaning the carb up and putting back together i noticed when i touched the throttle position sensor

it calmed down i noticed that you can slightly adjust them after doing so i have had no problems with it so far so hopefully i got it
