well today going to college i had a clunking sound when when ever i pull off i been told that it could be engine mounts how can i tell if they have gone there are no split in then thow ![]() dam cars ![]() rob |

Easiest way to tell is by putting the bonnet up, handbrake on, in gear, and pull the clutch up slowly to see if the engine rocks/hear a knock. Common failure is gearbox mounts, more than likely them if its a mount thats gone ![]() |

well i have changed the gear box mounts and it still there but it there when i turn right or left or braking now as well as pulling off dammm carsss ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

they new but there seems play in there thow how much play should they have ? it going to my brothers mates tomoz to go his ramps. cheers rob |

There shouldnt be any play in the lower arms. And if its the pump or rack, get it sorted asap! ![]() |
