i got a 2.0l going in to my fiesta van the all i have read so far that mondeo ecu's plug straight in. the ecu i have has 104 pins the loom i have has 60 pins i believe the loom is from a escort. this is starting to get quite annoying as it is almost ready to start up. has anyone had this problem or can shed some light on to what loom i need.

thanks lee

Welcome!

For the ECU you to go staight in it needs to be a zetec loom, so basically the 1.6si, if its not the 1.6 zetec in there currently you will need to replace the loom with one from an Si.

you'll only need the engine loom from a 1.6 16v Si and the correct ecu (DEEP,DESK,DEWY), if you keep the multi plug that joins the engine loom to the main loom it should plug straight in, if wont plug straight in you can wire it in via that multi plug so the engine loom is still removable ;)
