iv noticd tht when i put my sidelites on, they cme on but the dipped beam on the main headlight bulb comes on aswell, but not fully, chekd with a meter, theres just a low current goin through it. other thn this the headlites work fine. just wonderd if this is normal or cud it b a earth problem, or relay maybe? |

Yeah if the earth points on the lights is corroding it will be forcing power back through the main lights. |

cheers, were will i find the earth? i chekd a cuple wires round the lites but nuthin made a difrence. my cars had 2i bumpers put on, thnk it mite hv sumthin t do wi the previous owners pikey wiring fr the foglites! ![]() |

Bad wiring installed by idiots could be the issue. Basically, follow all the wires from the lights. I still need to get hold of the data that says where the grounding points are. |

No this is completely normal, its to do with dim dip. Its an EU law/requirement. |
