just need some spring clamps cost about roughly £20 for a decent set. you will need a 1/2 inch ratchet or impact gun to help compress the springs. long breaker bar helps on the tough hub nuts etc! the rears are easier as there less bolts, the fronts maybe a little tricky! |

do it yourself it is not hard i have changed the backs and did not need spring clamps but the fronts i have only changed the whole shock but the springs feel alot more compressed so i would recommend using spring clamps for the front if just changing the springs as i have not had them apart so i wouldnt no try taking the back shock off and having a look if you dont feel confident then dont do it but but as soon as it is off i bet you say this is easy as i had never done nothing on a car a year a go but have now done a few things like clutch change, services, shocks, exhaust, etc just take your time and only way to learn is to do it imo ![]() |

It'll be expensive at a garage and it's easy to do yourself. Rears you just jack it up, off with the wheel, off with the bottom bolt on the shock, off with the top nut in the boot on the turret, then you have your shock. take the top nut off and you'll reveal your spring, remember how everything goes back together, take the spring off, put new spring on, put it all back together and bolt it all back in. Simples. Fronts are the same you just have to undo two more bolts which are right in front of you when you take the wheel off. |
