no the top mountings are different an also the mk4 ones can be different aswell as they have a fork lower mounting compared to the eye mounting of the mk5 |

No, top and bottom mounts are both different

bottom mounts are the same otherwise you wouldt be able to do the mk5 rear beam conversion |

Had it in my mind they were different, but not worked on a mk5 for a fair while

its the mk4s that are different as thye have a fork mount and the mk5's have the eye mount |

That was it, knew I had worked on a newer fez with a fork mount, must have been my sisters mk4 rather than my old zs
