right then rather than rebuild my old block im gonna source a new bottom end and rebuild my stage 2 head how much do they go for and is usin ther 1.8 block on a 2litre head ok? can i use an st170 bottom end by anychance? just after a few tips ![]() cheers guys ![]() |

isn't it the other way around, ie use the 1800 head with the 2litre bottom end and 136ps cams?? a for a new block try ivor searl, they supply fully refurbished and warrented short blocks and all other engine parts |

cheers bud isit the short block i want? iv got a 2litre mondeo lump in there at the mo but it need to much work for me to faff would rather buy refurbed one already lol |

Yeah mate, short block, its basically the block, crank, con-rods, pistons, shells, rings and sump, ive used ivor searl before so im confident of the quality ![]() |

Ivor serle are good. Had many heads/engines from them and they done one of our van gearboxes too ![]() |
