Ive 10w 40 in mine at the min, shes not burning as much oil as it would with 5w 30 but thats prob cos the oil seals need replacing But yeah 5w 30 is what you should have in them

i was told 5w30 but its very thin so think im gonna slap 10w40 in there and see if its ok cheers for help guys

anything in the old pushrod engines, ive got 15w 40 in mine had no trouble |

as most modern fords, 5w30 15w40 is far too thick phil, your engine wont be getting the full protection fromt he oil using that |

mine smoked like a pig on 5w/30! stick to 10w/40 semi, can't go wrong. |

got 10w40 in and its sound better still smokes abit tho but i dont care lol |
