i need a new battery, but cant remember what one i need in my 1.4 Si, whats the most powerful one i can put in there? Would a zetec s one fit? My battery is useless and dies alot, the lights even dim when i do a window up |

Could be an alternator problem fella, especially if the lights dim when you do the windows up! Cant remember off the top of my head what one you would need, if you pop to halfords and look up your car it will say though, should say on your actual battery too. Zetec one would be fine though

i hope it isnt the alternator lol its always done it, but its only slightly. I wont get one from halfords as i think they are too expensive, i can get a heavy duty one from a shop round the corner from me for £50 but my mate has a mk5 zetec s for scrap so if tht battery will fit i will see what thts like, its almost new aswell |

the zetec one will have round terminals whereas the mk3 has square bettery terminals, you can over come this by buying adapters tho |
