Hey all, looking in the haynes manual it states when changing the boot lid to mark the boot lid or hinges before removal? I dont understand what to mark as surely when you replace the bootlid the markings are going to be on the old bootlid not the replacement one? It has set in confusion lol ![]() |

Just swap them over and don't bang it shut straight away, make sure its all lined up properly, if not fiddle and tightnen and loosen bolts etc. Like we had to do with mine at FF, although it was always on straight which was lucky. |

think they refering more to removal and refitting the orignal one. But in good old Haynes traditions to change the headlight bulb on my Laguna it said, to change the headlight bulb first remove the headlight, to remove the headlight first remove the bumper, to remove the bumper first remove the two front wheels!!! |
