Right a little while ago my wing mirror was knocked off, its wedged on a bit that pokes out, its not actually useable  it just sits sorta in the right place.Does anyone know how I go about changing them? I have one here that I bought I just ain't sure where to start. Also need to change the mirrors round on each because this one has some gash square blind spot bit of mirror, hows that done? Apparently its all a piece of piss. So hopefully I should be able to do it. |

Pretty sure you have to take the door cards of then you should see 1 or 2 screws that hold the internal plastic part on then there are 3 10mm bolts on the inside of the door then they should just pop of but take the door card of and it should be pretty obvious what needs to be done that is for a si but sure it will be the same on mk5 as you no what ford are like it nearly same on all there cars as the all same bits but different cars lol |

If it's joystick type: Undo the cap around the stick inside, it screws off. You can get the interior plastic panel off if you're careful, but if you want to play it safe, take the door card off first (just enough so it's out the way is fine). You'll see some screws or bolts (depending if they've been replaced by previous owners), remove these, the whole thing will come off, careful it may actually fall off! If it's electric, I believe it's the same but slightly different for the securing plastic cap around the adjuster. Don't bank on my saying that though. Remove the door card and look for screws on the bottom. To remove the glass on a joystick one at least, prise the top out and it will unclip itself through force. Oh, and full stops and commas booker, woah!

Oh sorry lol  ,using iPhone surprised it makes sense (if it does) as can't see what I am writing screen to small and always changes my words The joystick is the adjusting part on inside but zs must electric surely

Nah, they were a very very rare option on the MK3.5, even mroe so than heated windscreens. MK4's and MK5's were still an option IIRC. |

ABS was an option, so was the airbag. Basically, someone with a big wallet made a special order with yours! |
