aint used forum for a while. got fiesta 1.6 si and went out to start this morning and had nothing on inspection saw a blue single wire running across front cross member to the alternator it was'nt propely secured and had rubbed against the starter and eventually rubbed through and shorted against starter casing i replaced damaged section of wire and it still never started. it bump started it with no problems. so i found the wire leading to the starter motor from inside the car i put a wire to the battery and starter motor started the car. so my next check was all the fuses they were fine. my only other thought was fuses under the dash or in the ecu. but cant seem to find any. any help would be greatly appreciated. as every time i start the car im getting funny looks like im nicking it. |

The blue wire is the battery light to the dash from the alt Check at the ignition switch if you are getting power to the starter motor, think its black wire with red stripe |
