hey guys just curious to know what is this bit on the gearbox cradle for?
is there any need for it? what does it do?

think its to guide air into the airbox cos if u look on the standard air box the air feed starts just above it. just a guess tho

well seeing i'm using a different inlet with no air box, safe to say i can remove it lol |

Yeah just to direct air up into the standard airbox

Are you sure? On my standard airbox the vent is at the front at the side of the headlight. I've been under my car so much I can see this in my head, still can't figure out what it's actually for. |

Mine snapped off when I drove into a brick at high speed - (the brick did also rip an exhaust box in half too haha)
