There are 2 sizes of drum..186mm and 203mm seem to ring a bell. have a check in the haynes book of lies as it lists both sizes. im pretty sure the FRST ran the larger ones.if your drums are shagged go to a motorfactors. 2 drums shoes/cylinders and wheel bearings wont rush you for the earth and that way you know its all good and you wont have to worry again for quite some time. and as they can be a right turd burgular to get off sometimes its easier to just replace it all than try to do as little as poss from past experience..dont remove the drum like haynes tells you to...undo the hubnut on the front..not the 4 bolts on the back that hold the stub on..invariably the rivets holding the backplate on will disintegrate as you try to remove the drum and its super easy to trash a brake pipe which will spoil the mood noend. i think you'll find its mostly the smallest drum size on the mk 3.5 si but the older models eg. mk3 1.6"s" is the larger drum if i remember its a 10" so no not any mk3 druns will fit |
