Hi has anyone had any probs getting there 2.0 through a emmisions test? if so can any one give me any pointers on how to lower the emmisons ive tried servicing and a new cat. |

When you say service I assume you did a full oil change. Seems odd its not getting through, is it failing massively or marginally? |

marginally and yes i did a full oil change, i know quite a few of my mates have had probs as well they have got around it by having dodgy mots i do not want that for my car as i dont like being illegal. |

As long as you have a standard zetec cat on and everything else is as it should be.. eg. working/running correctly Then there should be no reason why it shouldnt pass. |

when you say failed on emissions what did it fail on CO, HC or both? do you know the actual readings? i didnt have any problems with mine, looking at the test sheet it passed by miles fast idle CO % max limit CO 0.200 mine actual 0.016, HC max 200ppm actual 18. other thing could be Lambda sensor faulty?? |
