I went to the garage with my si just to see how much it would be to get the front and back brake lines done and its not as cheap as you may think, the actual piping is cheap like £20 a role but fitting them is very time consuming because the system needs to be blead and and lines need to be shaped for the car. Its worth giving them a good scrub down. If they come up clean metal then your ok. |

Thats why fords have green brake lines, they don't rust... lol ![]() Nah when i wanted the connector on the end of 2 of my brake lines made from a 8mm to 10mm, (mondeo master cylender) i just took them to my mates uncles garage and he did it for free, as it was literally cut the lip of the end of the pipe, take the 8mm off, put the 10mm on, and crimp with the special tool ![]() I don't think this helps... lol ![]() |

lol not much of a help and my fiestas brakelines did rust Its mainly the corrosion to the chassis coz the advisory only says 'light' so im guessin its not too shabby and ill give it a coat of waxoyl when i get the car anyways |
