Valances are actually stone chipped then painted over, underside is undersealed and waxoil is the yellow stuff ofter seen behind door cards etc, usually sprayed into the actual sills and inner wings etc. |

Personally i would stone chip them and colour code them or if you get black stonechip leave as that. If the bumpers cover them stonechip only or if poverty spec ones i would colour code. Waxoil is good stuff but manky yellow colour and never really seen it used externally and exposed to the elements. Cant go worng with stonechip ![]() ![]() |

Not sure if halfords sell stonechip mate. Most good motor factors will or they will be able to get it Will have a look at the weekend mate been to busy at work this weekend and cant be bothered to get up there once im home. |

use this stuff, dries with a rubber feel to it so if you give it a good couple of layers any stones will just bounce off and not chip the paint underneath!! http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165594 |

Oh my bad. What do you think is better then for my sills, arches and valances? Stonechip or underseal Because i have just learned that waxoyl is mainly for internal panels |
