My heater control, one day decided to not work on 1, but still did on 2+3 So i thought ok fair enough, and then it worked again. But recently it stopped working on 1 all together, so i got another one from the scrappy And it's the same! D'ya recon it's the wiring or relay or something, or maybe it's just a common problem with the switch? |

I am guessing there is a dodgy relay, but I could be wrong. |

try the relay or fuse for the heater blower. Could be a burnt out connection. |

if its the fuse it wont work at all, i doubt its the relay. try and check the wiring maybe there is a loose connection, if not try replacing the switch. |

not so common on mk3 fiestas but on focus mondeo transits, there is a resistor near the blower motor which causes this problem. the wireing gets too hot and melts aswell ford have made a modified wire aswell as resistor. best bet is the scrappys as the ford one is £55+VAT, and all mk3s less aircon are the same |
