as you can see on the right hand side i have the fiesta bracket holding the alternator etc...

but on the left is the standard mondeo bracket....can i use the one on the left or do i need to get the fiesta one?

The head is off the engine which is why the bracket looks like its sitting really high

rob you dont need any of the mondeo mounts or pulleys, use all fez stuff

you only need the fez alt bracket and the alt mounts to it as does the pas pump, there that screw hole just below the water pump outlet thats iirc for your tensioner pulley and that pulley already on there is iirc the idler pulley, does that make sense?

yeah ive got all the tensioners and pulleys, just havent put them on yet

So i need to get a fiesta mount for the back?

i wanna get the engine built up and complete before i take my 1.6 out

the fez doesnt have a mount on the back

you have an engine mount that mounts to the alt bracket and the gearbox mount and an engine mount at the back, thats it

now im even more confused lol so i just take that bracket on the left on the pic above off completely?

my engines down ians workshop now so might get you to pop down lol

yup, the one above the oil filter comes off completely
